I was born in Portland, OR, without superpowers, but dang, I am still hopeful. Then, I grew up on a farm, feeding horses, cows, dogs, and a zillion stray cats who politely listened to my dream to one day do something great. All that allowance money from farm work was spent at Blockbuster Video to feed my obsession with movies. Casablanca to Close Encounters, I loved getting lost in fun stories where any wild idea was possible.
Little did I know I would spend years feeling lost in my own life’s story. I drifted through explorations of journalism, acting school, photography school, songwriting, and even real estate management, trying to find the perfect place where my creative soul could feel free and alive and do something fulfilling. But, each exploration eventually felt like not the right fit.

Maybe I finally did something great. Or maybe I just wrote a silly book that you can rest your soda can on. But this rom-com novel I ultimately brought into being feels great, and that’s what makes this farm kid’s dream finally feel fulfilled!
Now, back in calmer (and less expensive) Oregon, my next obsession is writing more books that share with you the fun and romantic party SF can be.
